Tertiary education comes together with relatively expensive university fees and daily living fees. To reduce financial burden while continuing their studies in private and public universities, many individuals have chosen to apply for the Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) loan. However, the dilemma is that they must return PTPTN loans when they finish their studies unless they apply for exemption with their first-class honor qualification.

3. For those who would like to obtain a PTPTN account number, you may go to any PTPTN kiosk nearby to sign up for your first activation as a debt payer. Then, you will have to pay RM200 for the PTPTN bill. Make sure you have 100 Boost Coins to activate. To get 100 Boost Coins, you can pay any bills or top-ups nearby using the Boost app. Once you have paid for the PTPTN bill, you can claim RM3.50 reward. In other words, you actually only spend RM196.50 out of the RM200 you paid. This method is more cost-effective than paying online banking method which is fixed and discounted.
