This mixed-race couple’s wedding reception had social media users captivated by the 1 Malaysia spirit, with a lion dance and even kompang performance under one roof.
The newlyweds were dressed in resplendent Chinese attires, and while the hall echoed with tantalizing beating of kompang, the lions flanked both sides of the pelamin to perform a vibrant dance.
Their wedding not only symbolized love, but also the marriage of two cultures becoming one, an embodiment of beautiful harmony going hand in hand.
