Not all heroes wear capes, but these brave men certainly deserved a medal for their compassion.
As shared by marq_56 on his TikTok, he and his friend were picking up a client’s parcel when they suddenly caught a shocking sight not too far away.
There, another man was seen standing at the edge of a deep drain, looking down while holding what seemed to a be a man-made rope.
They initially thought he had been fishing, but quickly found out that the man was desperately attempting to rescue a stray cat at the bottom.
Turned out, the poor feline had been cruelly pushed by an unknown bystander, which was witnessed by the man.
As the cat had no means of escape, the three men teamed up to bring it up to safety using the rope and bucket.
This time, the first man volunteered to go down the drain himself so that he could place the cat into the bucket, whereas @marq_56 and his friend would then reel it up.
Finally after an arduous rescue attempt, the cat made it out alive, much to their relief.
Touched Malaysians have since lauded the men for putting the cat’s life first, and hope they be showered with goodness tenfold.
