Such mentality has been lingering for ages, and a recent devastating sight just proved that we are still far behind when it comes to cleanliness.
One man, however, is on a mission to set a positive example.
Muhammad Yusuf, who goes by @yourpovcleaner on TikTok, has been actively advocating such a cause. He often posts videos of himself cleaning up litters, with the aim of spreading awareness to others on the importance of maintaining clean public spaces.
In one of his videos, he took it upon himself to clean a litter-strewn area in Cyberjaya, urging Malaysians to follow suit.
Many viewers certainly agreed with his sentiment, as we can’t simply keep on allowing ourselves to a backwards mentality any longer.
