“Fish are friends, not food”
When a supposed food prep became a toddler’s newfound friend, this mom had a hard time telling her child to let go.
In a hilarious video shared by @syida.azni on TikTok, she was cutting and prepping a fish for lunch, only to turn her back and saw her toddler snatching it away merely minutes after.
Right at the family’s living room, the peculiar boy was seen hugging and talking to the fish, having innocently thinking it was a pet.

And just as his mother came over to take the fish back, he refused to part with it and quickly burst into tears, a sight that had social media users tickled.
As childhood innocence is something that many kids possess, his demeanour was certainly nostalgic- considering that we also had a few animal friends in the past that we loved so dearly.
