The kind-hearted van driver doesn’t confine his profession solely on getting passengers from point A to B, but he also acts as a pillar behind the special needs community.
Taking to TikTok to share his noble gesture, the teachers of PPKI SMK Gurun recently showed just how the gentle Mr Balakrishnan would often assist a wheelchair-bound student during drop-offs every single morning, without fail.
As the teachers await to greet students by the gate, Mr Balakrishnan would get off the van and open the door for the boy, before carrying and placing him onto his wheelchair.
They said that he wasn’t instructed to do so, but acted purely out of his compassionate heart.
And his action certainly doesn’t go unnoticed as they’ve continuously expressed their gratitude, earning respect even from viewers online.
