Forget flying a Wau Bulan, how does it feel to be wearing one as a pageantry costume?
The momentous moment has finally come for Mrs World Malaysia’s representative, P. Vanishaantini, to debut the national costume she’s set to wear for the Mrs World’s 2023 pageant next month.
Held in Las Vegas, the prestigious competition will see her clad in a 3.8 metre high Wau Bulan costume, a creation so massive that it’s now etched in The Malaysia Book of Records for “The Biggest Wau Costume”.
With extravagant and intricate detailing, the creative mind behind the idea was of designer Saran Anak Lagong’s.
