For 23-year-old Malaysian Mai and her Manchester-born husband Annas, their TikTok account is filled with hilarious adventures of the couple- many of which highlighted the latter’s experiences with Malaysian culture.
And in their recent video, 22-year-old Annas once again showed his fluent Malay language, but this time incorporating some impressive cooking skills.
The couple shared their take on rendang, with Annas explaining a step-by-step tutorial of making the local cuisine.
With hilarious effects and humour thrown in the mix, their cooking video has won Malaysians’ hearts, with many praising Annas’ fluency despite having learned Malay in just four months.
