A heartwrenching accident involving a stray dog has opened up to a tale of compassion and empathy, and the ending deserves immense respect.
According to TikTok user @airis.yasminn, her family had heard a loud bang nearby their house at 3a.m., followed by whimpering sounds.
Concerned by the situation, she then discovered a bloodied stray dog lying on the road, believed to have been involved in a hit-and-run.
As the irresponsible driver was nowhere in sight, attempts of filing a report was futile.
Airis, however, was shattered by the ordeal and quickly brought the dog home to tend to it, noting that it was unable to drink nor move due to the severe injuries sustained.
While the tragedy has devastated many, Airis shared that the dog is now recovering at home after receiving extensive medical treatment.
