Recently, M’sians have expressed boycott toward Japanese convenience store chain FamilyMart.
Many believed that their parent company, Itochu Corporation had a partnership with Israeli defence contractor company Elbit Systems, placing them in a direct position of aiding genocide.
But shortly after the boycott started in Malaysia, Itochu released a statement saying they would cease all partnerships with Elbit Systems, cutting all ties to the company and the ongoing terror.
FamilyMart Malaysia has also released a statement to address the boycott:
