KUALA LUMPUR, 5 JANUARY 2023 – The board of Catcha Digital Berhad has officially announced the appointment of Eric Tan Leong Yit as Group Chief Executive Officer (Group CEO), effective 2 January 2023. Eric shall be responsible for driving organic growth and expansion opportunities, and value-adding mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Eric has a wealth of experience across many aspects of the digital industry. He previously served as Chief of Staff at leading internet group, Catcha Group, where he was leading sourcing and execution for multiple strategic investments and M&A.

Eric was also previously the CEO and Co-Founder of Instahome, a Malaysian home rental platform and co-Founder of VIP Live, an Indonesian live-streaming app. Before that, he also served as the Head of Southeast Asia at London-based mobile app analytics company, Reflection.io.
