A floating male corpse was discovered near Penang bridge just a few hours ago, and The Penang Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA was immediately informed of the incident by a local fisherman who was present at the scene. 

Not much is known about the deceased but a Kawasaki Z1000 motorcycle with registration number WTJ 4481 was found nearby the scene, leading the authorities to believe that it may belong to him. 

The case is currently under investigation by the Perai Police Station investigating officers. Meanwhile, the public is urged to report any emergencies or accidents at sea at the 24-hour MERS 999 emergency line or the Penang Maritime Operations Center at 04-2626146.
