UK Prime Minister in ICU after COVID-19 symptoms worsen

The British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson was sent to intensive case on April 6 after his Covid-19 symptoms has worsened.

Boris Johnson, 55, was tested positive for Covid-19 10 days ago. He was admitted to the St Thomas' Hospital in London with "persistent symptoms" on Sunday night (April 5). The spokesman said that the prime minister's medical team advice him to move and he is now in good care.

"The PM is receiving excellent care, and thanks all NHS (National Health Service) staff for their hard work and dedication," he added.

According to Xinhua news agency, Johnson has asked Dominic Raab, the British Foreign Secretary to deputise for him.

Up to April 7, there are over 50k Britain who tested positive for Covid-19, with 5,373 death cases, as according to Worldometer.
