In a nutshell, Elecher shared a video on her TikTok account to mark the birthday of her housekeeper, known as Sumi. There are no barriers between the employer and the employee, as Elecher affectionately addresses Sumi as 'Kakak' (elder sister in Malay). 

As a gift, Elecher sponsored Sumi to pamper herself for the day, including buying new clothes, visiting a salon, spa, and much more. What touched netizens watching the video is that almost all of these self-care activities were entirely new experiences for Sumi, including going to a salon. She became so overwhelmed that tears flowed.

"I've never worn a dress before this. I'm 38 years old, and I've never been to a salon," Sumi emotionally shared. Additionally, Elecher's family took Sumi to a fancy restaurant for a sumptuous meal, where Elecher's children treated Sumi affectionately.
