In a video that’s making rounds on social media, this motorist and policeman are winning hearts for being road heroes.
Shared by the former on his TikTok @driving4dummies, Ammar Anas recently highlighted the hazard of a hidden pothole found at Jalan Conlay in KL.
Concerned by the sight, he walked over to take a closer inspection, and was alarmed by the pothole’s sheer depth- stressing that it could endanger other road users as it’s not visible from afar.
But while he was doing so, a policeman happened to pass by on his motorcycle, and began approaching Ammar.
Fearing he was about to be fined, it turned out that the officer had also noticed the hazard.
He then placed a barrier cone on top of the pothole to alert others, delighting Ammar.
And as the officer was about to leave, Ammar cheekily took a selfie with him to commemorate their impromptu collaboration.
Following the video, both men have been lauded by viewers for their heroic gesture in spreading safety awareness.
