ICYMI: Man Who Allegedly Murdered Parents Tested Positive For 3 Types Of Drugs

A video uploaded on Facebook showing how a traffic policeman retrieved his glove from a monkey has amused netizens.

The 1 minute 11 second video was posted on Facebook by page Dunia Haiwan (Animal World) on December 13.

It showed a traffic policeman revving his high-powered motorcycle in an attempt to get a monkey that was perched on an advertisement board by the roadside to return his riding glove which the animal had taken.

A colleague of the policeman could be heard in the background trying to coax the monkey to return the glove.

"You, you, can you please return the glove? Pity him, he needs to work. please give it back, come, come, return it please, why did you have to go and take my friend's glove" the voice in the background can be heard saying out to the monkey who was busy checking out and inspecting the glove.

"Jai (policeman), go and ask for it (glove) back, ask for it nicely," said another voice in the background while laughing.

The monkey, however, was unbothered as it continued to probe, sniff and bite the glove.

Eventually though, the animal relented as it lost interest in the glove and threw it down to the ground after spotting something else that piqued its interest.

The policeman then immediately retrieved his glove while smiling.

Comments from amused netizens were nothing short of hilarious, as one Facebook user using the name 'Kuasa Pirdana Mintiri' commented, "Make a police report if and when such a case happens"

Another, Mohd Rozli Yusuf, said, "the monkey returned the glove. Smart of the one in charge to coax the monkey to return it."

Suraya Zahra left a comment saying, "Do a barter trade lah. exchange it with a banana."

As of time of publication, the video had garnered more than 3,000 likes, close to 300 comments and close to 240 shares on the popular social media platform.
