In a recent bout of unpredictable weather, numerous states and regions in Malaysia are grappling with the aftermath of severe flooding, affecting over a hundred homes. Among those affected is Azrul, a resident in Bangi, who not only witnessed his residence succumb to floodwaters but also experienced the heartbreak of seeing his cherished BMW bear the brunt of the deluge.
Azrul shared a video capturing the aftermath of the flooding, where he is seen opening the car door and painstakingly using a ladle to scoop out the accumulated water from the submerged vehicle.

Speaking to online media outlet "World of Buzz," Azrul revealed that this was the most severe flooding incident he had encountered. Without any prior warning, his beloved BMW 640i suffered substantial damage, transforming into a partially submerged vehicle.
Even after the water receded, Azrul exercised caution and refrained from starting the engine. Instead, he diligently removed the accumulated water before opting for professional towing services to transport the vehicle for repairs.
"I took great care to clear the water from the car before sending it to the workshop for professionals to handle. I didn't dare to start the engine on my own, fearing it might lead to more significant losses," he explained.
Describing the flood, Azrul mentioned the swift and forceful flow of muddy water from higher grounds to the lower residential areas. The residents, awakening from their slumber, had little time to react, finding the water levels already rising with no opportunity to salvage their belongings.
The incident occurred on November 5th, with heavy rain pouring from 2:00 AM to 4:30 AM. The intensity of the rainfall resulted in severe flooding in nearby areas turning them into waterlogged towns.
In the wake of this calamity, residents speculate that the water levels reached over 3 feet during the flooding and exceeded 5 feet as the floodwaters receded, making it challenging to estimate the extent of property damage.
