For this man, his act of kindness with an individual in need quickly unfolded into a heart wrenching story.
Their interaction, which took place at a cafe in Johor Bahru, began after the man saw a person wearing a panda costume outside of the premise. Touched by the sight, he then approached the latter and invited him inside for some food and drinks.
To his surprise, his guest turned out to be a 12-year-old boy.
The boy then opened up to the man regarding his family background, sharing that he has been donning the costume for two years now, in order to raise his school funds.
With money being tight at times, he took up the “hustle” as his father only works as a contractor, and mother a homemaker tending to his other siblings.
His story moved the man in tears, considering how mature the boy acts despite the struggles.
The video has received outpouring support from viewers, with many offering to help lift the boy’s burdens should there be further information about him.
