Holly, jolly…but not quite merry

While many shopping malls in Malaysia have gone all out with over-the-top Christmas decorations, one particular mall in Sabah is sort of going the opposite direction.
According to a video shared by a fellow shopper, the 1 Borneo Shopping Mall’s underwhelming festive cheer was evident from the lack of ‘dazzle’.
He showed that there was only a tiny tree in the middle of the huge mall, which garnered hilarious reactions from viewers.

While many were shocked by the sight, he then updated that the management was adding further decorations to the space, although the specifics were shown.
