ICYMI: Man Collapses & Dies Waiting To Have Passport Processed At JB Immigration Complex

A video of a delivery rider doing "wheelies" has gone viral on social media, causing outrage among netizens.

The video, about 42 seconds long, showed the motorcyclist perfoming the dangerous stunt while carrying a delivery bag which was secured to the back of his motorcycle. He was seen performing the "wheelies" while standing on his bike, maneuvering the streets of Kuala Lumpur at night.

Netizens expressed regret over the video, with many saying that the man was endangering his life and that of other road users. Some had even urged the authorities to investigate.

One Facebook user Nani Nanie questioned the individual's actions and said: "Don't you treasure your life? Your mother and father at home would be worried."

Kelvin Tee Teck Keong said the motorcyclist should be caught, and said he had tarnished the good name of other riders. "He is causing a nuisance to road users, and he is damaging the reputation of other riders who are more careful."

Another user urged the company to implement strict rules in their contracts when hiring their riders. "Companies must set in their contract or policy that the service of these riders be terminated with immediate effect, for endangering so many people," said user Yap You Wai.

However, there were some netizens who took a more light-hearted view on the matter.

Ahmad Nasharudidn said: "'Bersangka baik' (think positively). Maybe the (delivery) box is too heavy causing (the wheel in front) to lift.

Salina Zabri, meanwhile, said the man could apply to join the circus. "It would be even better, you can travel the whole world doing a wheely," she added.

The video was shared on the Facebook page Kementerian Netizen Malaysia, and had since been viewed by over 560,000 people.
