Who says animals aren’t “pranksters”? While the act might not be the same as humans, animals actually have their own way of teasing playfully.
This video on TikTok, for example, seemed to be hitting too close to home. Just by the expressions and laughter, who’d guess that an orangutan could be such a jokester.
In the video, the cheeky orangutan was seen attempting to poke one of its keepers with a stick, despite being separated by wired fence between them.
Funny enough, it even let out a silent laughter after doing so, signalling its amusement by the successful prank.
And judging by the keeper’s nonchalance, perhaps she’s so used to it one too many times now.
Amused viewers have called the orangutan’s antics “too adorable to resist”, which goes to show that wildlife creatures aren’t devoid of emotions.
