For this woman known as @dhen.mua on TikTok, her recent trip to India landed her in the hospital with a grave condition called Septic Arthritis.
The cause? Consuming sashimi from a restaurant.
Just after taking the meal, Dhen quickly complained of lightheadedness, before being rushed to a hospital.
Ultimately, the sickness was so severe that she became bedridden for three weeks, and had to undergo tests while waiting for results.
Fast forward to the present, Dhen still hasn’t fully recovered from the ordeal- but counts her lucky stars for the miraculous survival.
She warned others of being cautious when eating abroad, and hope others won’t fall into a similar circumstance like hers.
