Last night, King Harald V of Norway was hospitalized at Langkawi's Sultanah Hospital due to an infection while on vacation in Malaysia. The 87-year-old monarch has been battling several illnesses in recent months, raising concerns about his health. 

It was announced just two days before his birthday last week that the king would be embarking on a private trip abroad. King Harald V is Europe's oldest living monarch, and in his absence, his 50-year-old Crown Prince Haakon is currently overseeing royal duties. 

The Norwegian royal household announced that the King is receiving excellent care from both Malaysian and Norwegian medical personnel. We wish King Harald V a speedy recovery!
